1. The Shaper Promise

Every Wavalea surfboard is shaped from virgin high-density EPS blanks and laminated with multi-axis carbon parabolic rails and aerospace-grade bio-epoxy resin. We guarantee structural blank integrity and resin bond lamination for the lifetime of your craft.

2. What Is Covered

CORE INTEGRITY

Delamination Protection

Covers any manufacturing separation between EPS foam core, carbon stringer matrix, and fiberglass cloth under normal surf usage.

HARDWARE

Fin Box Reinforcement

Covers structural failure of factory-installed FCS II or Futures fin box casings resulting from craft assembly defects.

AIR POCKETS

Resin Bubble Guarantee

Zero tolerance for dry glass or resin void pockets from the glassing bay.

3. Exclusions & Environmental Wear

While our boards are engineered for critical maneuvers and heavy ocean swell, our warranty does not cover:

  • Direct reef impact, rock collisions, shorebreak compression buckles, or run-ins with other watercraft.
  • Prolonged heat damage or bubbling caused by leaving boards inside closed vehicles under direct sunlight.
  • Modifications or repairs performed by non-certified shapers.

4. How to Submit a Claim

If you experience a defect in materials or craftsmanship, submit your claim directly through your Rider Portal or email photos and serial number to warranty@wavalea.com. Our master shaping team will review your case within 48 business hours.

5. Certified Factory Repairs

For standard ocean dings, reef scrapes, and tail crunches outside warranty coverage, we offer factory-certified color-matched resin repairs at our Hawaii shaping bay with priority turnaround for registered riders.
